While many folks attending a munch may already be partnered or just not looking, some folks attending munches do attend for the opportunity presented to meet and possibly interact with other single/looking folks.

The main thing to remember is that the codes of conduct and etiquette always apply to any interaction in the munch environment. Be on your best manners, be charming, polite, courteous and pleasant company.

Munches are a wonderful way to meet new folks, but remember any group organizer worth their salt, will be on the lookout for "sharks" cruising for a quick playdate. Those individuals who gain a reputation for cruising for play dates will quickly find they have worn out their welcome.

Educational events are a great way to meet BDSM folk who are interested in similar types of play.

Attend these events with your own education and experiences as a goal, enjoy the fellowship, be friendly polite and participate as much as possible. this will allow others to see you in a positive light and possibly open the doorway to further conversations and interactions.
